As describe by the two other posters this was one of the most poorly handled interviews I have ever been a part of. Extremely unprofessional throughout the process. They seem to have no idea what they are actually looking for in this role and will gaslight you throughout it.
I applied online. I interviewed at ElectronX (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2026
Interview
First interview was setup for a 30min on screen interview. I thought this went great as we went over our time and spoke on all major topics. A couple of days later I was given the "we are going with someone who aligns with blah blah blah" & even asked for what specific in the blah where I didn't "align" & I didn't hear back from them. At least give a brother a tip for what didn't align and not hide behind the do not reply email. You will be judged for this later.

Give me a time where you had to make a quick & difficult decision & how you solved for this.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at ElectronX (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025
Interview
The hiring process for this role was poorly handled. I was initially contacted for a 30-minute exploratory call, followed by a more formal interview with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), during which I received an offer on the spot, an approach I found unusual. I requested additional conversations to meet members of the team and subsequently spoke with one other person and the Chief Operating Officer. After those discussions, I felt comfortable proceeding with the offer; however, both the CHRO and the other contact stopped responding and did not have the courtesy reply to two follow-up emails I sent.
