I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Elevate K-12
Interview
The interview process was stellar! First a screening phone call with someone in their HR office. The second interview was a video call with the person that would be my manager and works in their sales department. The third interview was a video call with the CEO which was inspirational and exciting to hear about this mature start-up from her perspective. Lastly, the team flew me to their Chicago office to present a product pitch, territory plan and have an in-person interview with the HR manager and the person that would be my immediate boss.
I was so prepared and informed every step of the way when interviewing with Elevate due to the stellar communication between all different departments. I could not be more impressed with the company and how they treat potential employees. Every Elevate employee I interacted with via email or in person was extremely nice and gracious. Although I did not receive an offer from Elevate, I have only positive things to say about the mission of the company and how I was treated throughout my interview process with Elevate. Best of luck to Elevate!

Other Sales Representative Interview Reviews for Elevate K-12
Initially it went well, I interviewed with HR, pretty quick interview, I’m a senior level rep with sales management in my background, so I was highly qualified. Next I interviewed with a Mgr/director who was recently promoted. She told me at the end of our interview that she would be moving me to next steps ( interview with VP of Sales)I had asked if she had other questions about me I could have answered; she said she would have liked it if I had told her about a specific initiative I had championed at a management role I had three jobs earlier. Why didn’t she ask?!?! I’m no mind reader, I was stupefied by that.
After a few days of asking when I could schedule time with the VP through the HR person, she finally told me he had declined to interview me.
I did get a feel that there was a lack of creativity there as the woman told me there was a very specific “proven” sales process to follow which was created by this VP. I may have smiled about that silliness, or maybe I didn’t proceed due to age discrimination? Either way- highly unprofessional to tell a qualified candidate they are moving to next steps but then later denying the next step with no conversation.

Interview
The first interview is what I'd expect with a sales job. Typical questions on job history, situations, etc.
The 2nd interview is with a panel where they will expect you to prepare for a discovery call with a prospective customer and then deliver a sales presentation to that customer. They will expect that you create (from scratch) a PowerPoint sales presentation.
Be prepared to spend several hours preparing these two things.
And probably the most frustrating part is after you spend hours doing this, HR doesn't respond to your request for an update even though they say they will be making a decision very quickly.

Question 1
Prepare a discovery call that ends with getting the opportunity to present to the stakeholders. Prepare the presentation.
