Empire Communications interview questions

I am writing this review for anyone applying for this company in the DMV area. It is a huge waste of time. Firstly, the job is not located in DC, Silver Spring, or Temple Hills; it is located in New Carrollton. Second, when you arrive at the office the name of the company is not Empire Communications, it is Belmont Executives. They had about 20 people interviewing at one time. I applied for the CSR position which I assumed I'd be interviewing for. While filling out an application and waiting to be called, I spoke with a peer of mine and he'd applied for a Junior Account Manager. Basically, it does not matter what positions you applied for, they are all for B2B sales. My interviewer was extremely vague while providing the description of the job. Him and his colleague took in two applicants at a time to "interview". The first thing he’d stated was that the position would be located in New Carrollton, the young lady that came into the interview with me stated immediately that would not work for her. She applied for a position closer to where she is located, and she proceeded to leave. I stayed and listened to him attempt to sell me on this job. When he finally took a breath I asked if the position was door to door or business to business. He spoke around the question and was still extremely vague regarding the true job description, but essentially the job is business to business. I told him that would not work for me as that is not what I applied for, nor was New Carrollton the location I'd applied for, and left. This job is a SCAM. I drove far to come out for this interview believing I'd applied for one opportunity at a specific location, but was presented with another. Many others that were there to interview were highly upset as well as it was difficult for them to find transportation for the interview. If you are in the DMV area and applying for this job, are not looking for B2B sales, or looking to work based out of New Carrollton, do not waste your time.
