When i started the Job search process, I posted my resume at different Job Boards. Within few days, I received a call from Enova's Corporate Recruiter. She was very professional and competent. She told me the details about the position and then emailed me the details as well. I asked her to give me a call back after few days, which she did and we setup an On-Site Interview's time and place. The recruiter also went into details of what to expect and was very open and upfront about interview process.
When I arrived at Enova, two employees from different departments took me out for lunch. I initially thought they would interview me there, instead, it was an "Ice Breaker" session, they just wanted to make sure I was not nervous and felt comfortable enough to be able to represent myself in best possible way. We joked around and had various conversations through out the lunch.
Later, I met with various managers from different teams and almost all of them asked me "Real-World" and very difficult technical and soft-skill questions. I got some right answers and some wrong, but the ones I got wrong, the interviewers provided the explanation and didn't count it against me as they just wanted to see my honest reaction. Each question that I did not know the answer to, I would tell them "I don't know, I could check google for the answer, but if I were to take a guess it would be ...".
After the interview, the hiring manager told me that all the interviewers were going to meet-up later in the day and someone will get back to me within next few days.
I really liked the people working at Enova and the way everyone was cordial, professional, and upfront about everything. So I had made up my mind even before I left their office that if I received an offer, I would accept it. Lo and behold, within next couple of days, I received the offer call from the company and I accepted the offer.
Before the start date, due to personal family emergency, I had to leave for over-seas. I reached out to the recruiter and she went out of her way to accommodate my request of delaying the start date. While over-seas, i was delayed due to some complications and couldn't return back on time, so I withdrew from the offer myself, but the recruiter stayed in touch with me through out major holidays. When i returned to the US, i reached out to her and thanked her for all the warm wishes and her above and beyond the call of duty approach and asked her to convey my regards to the team.
Well, as she conveyed my message to the managers, one of them replied back and then later met me again, interviewed me again, and hired me, AGAIN! :)
From day one, everything has been smooth sailing for me, the interview process, the offer, the on-boarding process... I cannot say enough great things about the Corporate Recruiter and her professionalism and human care she provided throughout the process.
