I applied online. I interviewed at Epic in Aug 2020
Interview
The application was an average employment application. The phone interview is done by someone that is doing the same job. They are friendly and describe the culture of the company and what you would be doing. The first phone interview you don't get an offer during.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They ask how you heard of epic and why you chose your major.
The phone interview was straightforward. The first interview questions were what was expected considering it was a phone interview. The interviewer was also pretty accommodating and experienced enough to answer questions regarding the job and relative information asked by the interviewee.
The preliminary virtual assessments are long, exhaustive, and tedious. However, as you progress meetings with human interviewers were more laid back. It felt like more of a conversation at that point compared to traditional interviews, which was appreciated.
Pretty straighforward. Case study is also very chill. Talk through your thought process, ask clarification questions. Most of it is them talking about themselves except for the case-study part and the final recruiter logictics call.

Question 1
Case study: How would you handle the situation just presented? (It was about two clients requesting urgent resolution of something and you couldn't dedicate urgency to both situation equally.)
