I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Etsy (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
A coding challenge then a phone interview then an in person interview. I only made it to the coding challenge and then unexpectedly got cut from the process. Overall still a good experience though
The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Etsy (Brooklyn, NY) in Feb 2022

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: Given an array of integers nums and an integer target, return indices of the two numbers such that they add up to target. You may assume that each input would have exactly one solution, and you may not use the same element twice. You can return the answer in any order.
First I was asked to take an online coding assessment, the assessment was to implement some methods and fix some bugs in a JavaScript project. After that they flew me to the Brooklyn office where I met with a couple people. I was asked some coding questions, and then I talked about some of my previous projects. It was overall a fine experience but the last interviewer was rude and obviously did not want to be there.

Question 1
How would you implement the browser history functionality
There were two rounds for this interview. First, an initial phone screen (no coding challenge this year it seems), and then a 'virtual on-site' with coding and behavioral rounds. All done virtually.

Question 1
A data-structures style question, more theoretical than typical questions.
