ExTrac interview questions

The interview process to summarise, was quite confusing. The advertised role was for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience and I was invited to interview after they discovered my profile on Otta. During the initial chat, which was primarily introductory I was told they were happy with my profile and seemed very enthusiastic about moving me to the next stage. They offered a few dates for the next round and after I submitted my availability, I received a response a day later stating they needed to review the role further and would get back to me by the end of the day on Monday. When they did follow up, I was informed that they had reviewed the role and now wanted to adjust it to a "more senior level" which was confusing as the original job description already stated it was for a senior/expert level role and I have over 7 years of experience in DevOps related positions currently as a Senior, which aligns with those requirements.
