Graduate Scheme, Financial Services (Regulatory Risk Management), Forensic & Litigation Consulting Interview

      Jan 19, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FTI Consulting in Jan 2023

      Interview

First round: I submitted my CV and Cover Letter on the FTI Consulting website Second round: Assessment centre What was entailed? * Interview * Group presentation * Technical Interview Interview Questions: He went through my CV and asked questions based on my experiences. He also asked a situational question: two partners, both give you a project, it’s due on the same day, how would you handle this. Group presentation: I was in a group of 3, we were given a case study and was required to present a 5 minute presentation with 45 minute of preparation. Your technical understanding of regulatory matters should be very high to perform well. Also, after your presentation the FTI employees would ask questions based on what you presented. After the group presentation, all students were able to meet a partner within RRM of FTI. Technical interview: At the very beginning of the progress, you would have been given a case. During the times you wait for the normal interview and the group presentation you would have ideally looked at the case, made notes depending on the case. Then two interviewers would ask you about it and test your technical understanding of regulation changes, why the certain regulation within the case was put in place. What they are looking for is commercial awareness and understanding how regulation affects stakeholders. Overall this experience was really good. the employees are extremely nice, and FTI from the outside looking in looked like a great place to work.
