    Interview

Fujifilm does its recruiting for this site through another agency known as MAU. After a brief phone screening with an MAU employee where they briefly discussed the position and we went over my resume, I received a request for a phone interview.

The phone interview involved the direct supervisor for the position and two other engineers from different departments who would play a supporting role to whoever ended up in the position. General questions were asked trying to understand what I enjoyed and was good at as an engineer and giving me a chance to ask questions to see if I would fit at Fujifilm.

I was then brought onsite for an in-person interview. The interview was in panel format, and specific questions were asked about how I had behaved in certain situations in the past. Lunch was also provided.

Only took one interview for a job offer to come. It was a very clean process. I really can't think of an easier job offer. It was fast and clean. It only took a few hours after the interview for an offer to come, and I accepted. I was very graitful that the process was so easy, as that is not always the case when going through the interview process.

    Negotiation

Easy and straightforward. I applied for the job, and then was called in for an interview. When I went home, it was just a few hours before a job offer came, and I accepted.

    Systems Engineer Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Sydney (Australia)
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at FUJIFILM (Sydney (Australia)) in February 2016.

    Interview

Saw the role listed late 2015 Q4 applied but was rejected then saw the role re-advertised early Q2 2016 for System Engineer role in Brookvale. HR was okay during the interview process however there was a technical person also in the interview who was very rude, un-welcoming and a arrogant attitude towards me. Got a email about 1 week later saying i was not successful and saw the job re-re-advertised on seek the very same day.

When i questioned them about the role been advertised in late Q4 2015, they said the person they hired had quit, however the email i received from them was due to change of business plans and role was no longer available.

Stay away from this company as something very fishy is going on, checked out the reviews and appears to be correct. With my experience at FUIJIFLIM i will never buy their products and will advise family and friends the same.

    Interview Questions

    • Generic personal questions and no technical questions.   1 Answer
