The interview process consisted of three stages. First, I had a short screening call with a recruiter to discuss my background and interest in the role. This was followed by a technical interview with two engineers, where I solved coding problems and discussed system design. Lastly, I had a final round with the hiring manager, which focused on behavioral questions, team fit, and my long-term goals. Overall, the process was well-organized and took about two weeks from start to finish.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to describe a time when I had to solve a difficult problem under pressure and how I handled it. They were really interested in understanding my problem-solving approach and how I communicate under stress.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fanique (Toronto, ON)
Interview
It was mediocre, not much substance but since it was a summer unpaid internship I don’t think the priority for organization was top of mind for them. Had previous interns do the interview, while sharing their experience (it was quite brief)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you see this internship turning into a paid position
The interview was done by an intern and virtually recorded which was weird. It was standard interview questions that could be easily googled. Lasted about 20 minutes. Not a lot of follow up questions.
