FedChem interview questions

Interviewed with FedChem in May 2018. Met with with the Plant Manager, Facilities Manager, and Lead Operator for about an hour. It was an interview that very easily could have been accomplished over the phone but instead I had to drive 3 hours to Bethlehem without reimbursement. Apparently there were several candidates that were not local either. What kind of company do would do this? Their plant is very old and in an unusual location. Never heard back from them.
