I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx in Sep 2011
Interview
A sort observation takes place- where managers take potential applicants and tell you about what kind of work you will be doing if hired. A week may pass. Afterwards you will be called in for a 1:1 interview. If you get this far they WANT to hire you.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
