PSP: Profit, Shareholders, Profit
May 29, 2023 - Senior Corporate Manager in Memphis, TNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The frontline teammates and leaders are great to work with. Good work/life balance for this industry.
Cons
Executive leadership is now the dime a dozen traditional variety who make poor decisions based on short term gain for themselves. They are currently taking employee bonuses and bragging about them and the shareholders getting theirs. Yes, we were all informed by an SVP that the LTI paid out immediately after telling us we are not getting anything. Low pay across the board for all operations and support groups. When we bring this up, the response we receive is just be proud we work for FedEx. I used to be, not anymore. Communication is non-existent and is leaving many to speculate due to the uncertainty. Dead weight is never held accountable. Last minute policy changes that take from the employees.

Too many cons
Apr 24, 2023 - Part Time Package Handler in Missouri City, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Not much unless you probably have convictions ( and can not work in a professional setting) and are happy to be in a highly corrupt environment. [People think you are dumb because you work here and they gossip so much. ] FedEx looks good on your resume
Cons
Messy Coworkers [Very sneaky] and Conniving Managers. Few Hours. If you value work ethic, they try to overwork you and then scheme to sabotage you for firing. I was told my first months, the good people and good workers are always forced out. It was a warning to me by coworkers my 2nd week. The good workers get injured and they have had deaths at this location. It looks good on your resume but boy it's a nightmare for someone just trying to work. If they are jealous of you, you will be chased out the company or get another job before that. Upper management looks like they're having fun though with the high level of corruption. If you see a good review, it was likely written by them or a worker who isn't fit for a regular company, smokes weed a lot and doesn't work. The manual labor is not worth it in the long run. You will be tired from work, physically bruised and the work environment. No one with goals should venture into the God Forsaken Cave.

Nightmare Fuel
Apr 10, 2023 - Dangerous Goods Agent in Memphis, TNRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
FedEx blesses those fortunate enough to earn six figures or more, and awards free 'moving up' information to employees from time to time. Though the benefits are not as wonderful as they used to be, they are still decent. Being a DG Agent you get other responsibilities away form the slides and other 85% of our miserable jobs.
Cons
FedEx is synonymous with the phrase Hell-on-Earth. We work in uncirculated areas in weather over one hundred degrees during the summer and cannot feel our fingers and toes during winter's subzero temperatures. I have been buffeted by sleet in an ice storm and seen a frozen chemical spill. Our lives are also at stake every day: I have witnessed accidents, injuries, loss of limbs, and loss of lives. Many colleagues hired are hostile and dangerous, and their driving of company equipment shows it, as well as the rage incidents in the parking lot. Then there are the matters of rampant theft, destruction of customer property (some irreplaceable like several broken urns and chemical spills), and missed commitments. The greatest evil however is their hypocrisy. Most recently, hours have been savagely cut to the point where it is a short, overwhelming six-hour condensing of work each day instead of a smooth eight to ten-hour shift during Sort. This makes us all more tired, poorer, and more discouraged than ever; all the while, the company is bragging about itself reminiscent of the Wizard of Oz telling everyone all is well and not to look behind the curtain and see for certain.

Fast Environment, Great Company
May 18, 2023 - Warehouse Manager in Morton, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Vey good company to work for with their benefits and great management. Promotions are from within, so you can go as high in the company as long as you’re willing to put the work in for it. 10/10
Cons
As a package handler, there is really no cons. When you get to management, you have to deal with daily drama; but that’s in any manager position there is.
