Questions referring to age or any other protected class are not permitted. Since your interview in 2011 we have taken steps to ensure managers are trained on this. We'll take this opportunity to remind our hiring managers on appropriate and inappropriate interviewing questions. Second, I'm very sorry to hear you had to pay for your own travel expenses for training. This is certainly not our normal practice now. The company covers all travel expenses for employees during company required training.
