Too bad: Questions read off a web site to ask C# developers (Google such before you phone interview (Indianapolis) with these clowns). No desire to find out true skills. For example, if you don't know what "boxing" means, you are unqualified. Doesn't matter if you've "boxed/unboxed" a zillion times (which you/I have, we just don't know the trick question/terminology), if you don't "read off" the "answer", you clearly don't know C#, in their feeble minds. That tells me the person(s) asking the question are not qualified to make decisions on candidates.
And it tells me this company (at least with this particular organization) is not interested in solving its customers problems. They are too hung up on non-sense, instead of a willingness in solving problems and delivering value to their customers. In my case, and perhaps others, I am an extremely focused developer on delivering value to my customers. I actually get a kick out of it, and drives the very being of why I do what I do.
