Interview
The first round was the technical interview, followed by problem-solving. Problem-solving consists of puzzles, mathematical problems, guesstimates, and a case study.
I did not clear the problem-solving round, so I can only tell you about that.
Interview questions [6]
Question 1
Asked me to create a database schema of an app I use daily and asked basic SQL reporting questions related to that. Followed by some basic Excel problem statements and functions. After SQL and Excel, asked me about Python and very basic filtration and grouping functions.
There are 2 trains A&B moving in opposite directions at speeds of 50kmph and 70 kmph respectively. There is also a bird above the train moving towards B at 80kmph. As soon as the bird touches the other train, it starts flying in the direction of the other train. The distance between 2 trains is 100km.
Tell the total distance travelled by the bird before the 2 trains collide.
Case Study: Total revenue of Flipkart for Feb'24 got a 30% dip. Try to identify If this is even a problem or not. If this is a problem, do an RCA to find its cause.
