I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Frequence
The interview process was three rounds. Each interviewer asked some standard interview questions about background, why you want to work here etc. Very conversational and easy to communicate with. The process moved quickly and was about a week long.
- What will you bring to the company?

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Frequence (Pune) in Aug 2022
The interview process does not looks like conventional it is more of a ice breaker and enjoyed the conversation throughout. I gave 3 rounds , 3rd one was from someone in US and then after that a small interaction with their India head.

I interviewed in 2020, so the process may have changed. There were 4 rounds of interviews. First two rounds were about programmatic buying. It's okay not to have that much knowledge on this aspect, especially since this position is posed as an entry level, but definitely do your research. First round was a chill conversation about programmatic buying, very lecture-based. Second round goes more into details about programmatic buying, so definitely take notes from your first round and utilize what you learned to succeed in the second round. Ask a lot of questions and show interest. Third round was your typical scenario-based questions. Fourth round was with the CEO, which was more of a conversation.
- What do you know about programmatic buying? Why do you want this role? (CEO Interview) Tell me a project you worked on where something failed.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Frequence in Jan 2022
I applied online, and took an initial assessment. After that, I was invited for a video interview with a team member. Second round was with another team member, third with another. Then I was invited to another 15min talk with one of them and she asked me to do a take-home assignment. I worked on it about a week. Then, I did a presentation to all three of these people. After that I was informed that they will not move forward with me. Initially, they had no feedback, but after I asked for one, they said they liked my communication and coding skills, but I had to improve my statistical skills. Overall people were very nice, but I am thinking they could have given me the take-home at the beginning, so we would not have wasted all this time.

Covid proceedure was five video interviews. 3 technical and 2 busienss/culture. fit. Interviews were conducted by VP of Eng, and senior and mid-level engineer. Busienss interviews were with co-founder and the CEO.
- Some of the technical questions are really really challenging and you don't need to have a complete soultion to every question to pass (I didn't). Just explain your thought process and give it a try.

I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Frequence (Oklahoma City, OK) in Aug 2021
4 video interviews. Insultingly low offer. 15 to 17 an hour. Not worth multiple video interviews. Even for a remote job it's a minimum wage salary. Do not expect 40k minimum.
- Who are you? Tell us about yourself

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Frequence (New York, NY) in Jul 2021
Trust me, you are dealing with ego issue. The interviewer is always wanting answers what he wants to listen. He asks the same question until his choice of words not there. Moreover, the overall approach to take you down anyway by annoying torturous tone. Never feel comfortable. Need to change attitude while approaching candidates

It seems they are recruiting for NASA or something alike. Even if you cross the toughest rounds, the last round is actually just to humiliate you by an unethical insecure hypocrite. Sorry for the harsh words, but it actually like this.

Initial video with the hiring manager. Then another interview with the team lead. Then the operations manager, and supposedly more interviews after that. In total I think there was 5-6 video calls. However, I didn’t get that far. Terrible experience! At first it was cool how fast and responsive they were. After the third interview they stopped responding to me and all emails went unanswered. They could have at least sent a denial email. Unprofessional to say the least. Glad I avoided this place!
