    Interview

Phone call from HR the same day I applied! This was promising.

Went onsite for an interview with the VP and section manager. Things went well.
Sent a follow up letter the next day. Called HR a week later. Nothing.

    It's been 8 weeks.

    Interview

Online application website is clunky and difficult to complete, only works in some browsers, and requires information that shouldn't be part of the initial submission (previous salaries, references, etc).

Hiring Managers generally unresponsive. Process is very, very slow. Had other job offers before I was called for a first interview.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Frost Bank.

    Interview

Phone interview, then HR interview, then panel interview. Very formal process overall, pretty generic questions, asked to sell an item to a panel member during final interview. Benefits seem competitive but health plan is more expensive than ones I have seen from UHC offered by other companies.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Frost Bank.

    Interview

It was pretty easy... one interview in the region applied then another there with a panel of managers. I recommend trying it out. Be prepared to talk about Frost and why you chose it as your place to apply.

    Assistant Administrator Interview

    Interview

The interview process actually started out really positive. Went to the downtown location and had an interview with the HR manager which I felt went really well. Afterwards, I had a second interview with two hiring managers. It was in this interview that I felt the interviewers had already disregarded my application/resume and were just giving an illusion of even considering me for the position by making small chat and not really asking me anything. One of the interviewers even kept outright suggesting I apply to other positions indicating to me that I was not capable for the position. Overall, I felt like I was being dismissed the moment they began talking to me.

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Frost Bank.

    Interview

I was referred to a position within the insurance department by an employee. The interview process was a bit tedious, but over all a positive experience. I did follow up regularly after each interview to ensure I was still being considered since the process was somewhat drawn out. The questions were not overly difficult and I met with 4 different employees. The HR department was wonderful during new employee orientation as well.
