I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Funding Circle in Oct 2018
Interview
Very disorganised, chaotic environment oozes instability. Questions not relevant to position at all. Would not recvommmend to anyone to work in that environment unless you like clutter, noise and bad-taste furniture.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Funding Circle (London, England) in Apr 2018
Interview
I first received a phone interview and was asked some general questions, such as why Funding Circle and some questions regarding my CV. At the end, a google type question was raised. How many footballs can you fit in a bus. I progressed immediately to the second round interview by asking if we assume the footballs are inflated.
Second round took place in their compay. First two junior analysts went through my CV with me and two major questions they rasied were: "What is your major achievement apart from your academic career?" and "Describe a time when you covercame some difficulties in your life ".
Then I met a senior analyst to do a case study regarding some call centre problem. The questions were quite easy, say, calculating the average etc. When I got asked some question ragarding the efficiency of the call centre, I raised an operational research topic, the call centre problem, and I clearly noticed the puzzle face of the interviewer. The feedback confirmed this is where went wrong.
