This was an initial screening interview.
Went through basic questions, such as what do you know about the company, where I am currently based etc, where I have worked in the past, questions where there is no right or wrong answer basically.
Was not asked any pertinent questions relating to the role, which is fine as it was a get to know you, and a quick 15 minute interview which stated that you did not need to prepare anything beforehand.
I was not put through to the main interview thereafter, receiving a generic "other candidates were more suitable for the role, due to their experience" email, which was unfair as I did not speak about or get asked about my experience in depth.
Leaves me thinking I wasn't put forward due to a more personal feeling or preference rather than a professional one, overall it is just inconsiderate.

Interview
The lovely interviewer just had a brief chat about experience and tried to get to know the interviewee and what their background and hobbies are to generally find out what kind of person you are and we bonded over similar interests.

Question 1
What is your previous experience in the gaming industry?
Couldn't attend the initial interview time, but they were kind enough to reschedule. Except when I attended the new interview time, no one
turned up. I repeatedly attempted contact but was constantly ghosted for a month until receiving an automated rejection email. They had no respect for my time.
