I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GE in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview process was very monotone. The interviewer went through my resume and had a packet of questions to ask. I applied for the position through the GE website. The link was attached to my college career center where the job posting was also located. I met with a GE recruiter at my college career fair as well as attending an info session that night. Both were very informal, but I was asked via email to sign up for an interview. The interview occurred the next week. Unfortunately, I did not get the position because I did not use glass door to prepare prior to the interview. If you do not hear back within two weeks from GE regarding the position you applied and interviewed for I would assume you do not have the position. They were not very good at communicating the status of my position until I emailed multiple times inquiring.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GE (Cheltenham, England) in Mar 2024
Interview
Interviewers were great. Provided prompt and was more of a flowing conversation, so less intimidating. Very good experience overall. I think it went well. Advise it to prepare as much as you can and learn about the company and specific role
Flexible and great. All phases were easy and they were understanding. They made me feel comfortable and forget about the interview stress and anxiety. The interviewer was amazing and polite.
