GTR Event Technology interview questions

The interview process with this company was nothing short of horrendous. I have never had this type of experience with ANY company before. So I have a phone interview for this role initially and just days later I’m asked to come in for an in person interview with 2 staff (I’m also told they are trying to fill the position asap). I’m there over an hour and everything went really well.. or so I thought! This was mid to late June. After the 2nd round interview, I email one of the staff to ask questions and another time for follow up - she never responds. I reach out to someone else and finally get an update that I’ll hear by end of the following week. Of course I hear nothing. By late July, yes a month later, I’m contacted saying they want to extend an offer if I’m still interested. I’m told they’ve been trying to reach out, which was false because I had no missed calls, voicemails, emails- NOTHING! Not sure why I didn’t see the red flags hanging right in front of me, but I say yes. He loops in the staff member from my 2nd interview and I patiently wait for her response.. which took like 2 days. She responds and says that instead of this role they want to consider me for a lower level position. I’m confused so of course I respond and ask for clarity - no response. I have years of experience in healthcare, govt, even event coordination so considering me for less was a shocker. I then have to follow up once again where she wants to have a phone call to discuss the changes. Cool. So about a week after we have the call (which honestly sounded like a bunch of lies and a way to cover their behind) .. I wish I was making this experience up but sadly I’m not. During the call, which happens mid-late August, I’m told they are now in no rush to fill the position and it would probably be late September before they do. Also, I’m told to send salary info to her email, not sure why we couldn’t just discuss on the phone but she was adamant about it coming through email. I send the email and to my surprise she NEVER responds (sarcasm). It is now October 11th and I still have yet to hear anything from this company. They have lied to me, led me on, and ultimately wasted months of my time!! It is so difficult to find employment now and this experience was by far my worst! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY WITH THIS PLACE. Lack of communication is one thing, but to offer someone a job and then basically say nevermind is just unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN and if they can treat interviewees like that, how are actual employees treated? So glad I dodged a bullet here but it has been so disappointing and disrespectful and I deserve a whole lot more. Good luck to them and whoever works there!
