I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2010
Interview
I was in the Midwest when scheduling the interview. The interviewing agency setup my flight and hotel details and a GM engineer picked me up from the airport. The first day of the interview consisted of some one on one interview questions and a plant tour. The second day of the interview was a skills test on the equipment I would be running. The people were very friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs. For others that are interviewing with GM, relax and be yourself.

Question 1
What is activation function? Write a code to print even numbers.
They even do not give interviews for people who need visa sponsors. A few months after I have applied for several positions, I got a "no longer available" response. All applications that took me several hours to fill questions are just wasting time.
