I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2013

Interview

Screening of resume through outside contract firm. GM uses key words to filter resume based on how many times you mention key words like Agile. Also some can be risen based on employee referral to hiring manager. Initial interview via phone and then face to face with multiple interviews over half a day
