The interview process honestly wasn’t very difficult. It felt more like a conversation than a high-pressure evaluation. As long as you clearly demonstrate that you’re motivated, driven, and genuinely committed to becoming successful in the role, you’ll stand out. They really seem to value attitude and work ethic over having every technical detail mastered on day one.
A big part of what they’re looking for is your willingness to go through the licensing process and put in the effort to pass your exams. If you show that you’re disciplined, coachable, and serious about studying for and completing your SIE, 63/65, and insurance exams, that goes a long way. They want people who are hungry to grow, comfortable stepping outside their comfort zone, and ready to take ownership of their performance.
If you can communicate your goals clearly, explain why you’re interested in the financial industry, and show that you’re motivated to build a career rather than just get a job, you’ll do great in the interview process. Confidence, preparation, and a strong work ethic matter more than perfection.
