Interview
The interview process was incredibly disjointed, disorganized, and misleading. Although the job is listed as based in San Francisco, it's actually a remote job. The interviewer struggled to answer what day-to-day responsibilities would be like and did not seem to listen to my answers—it seemed more important that he speechify the value of the product. The interviewer also asked me basic questions that I had addressed in my resume and cover letter. It also seemed as though the entire marketing direction/brand strategy would be put on the copywriter instead of a marketer. After I was offered the job, I was given a list of tasks with no mention of compensation or benefits. Finally, I discovered that instead of a full-time position as advertised on Glassdoor, it turns out Georgos was looking for a contractor. The communication from the beginning was a mess so I could foresee only frustration in the future for any Georgos copywriter.
