Good Inside interview questions

Recruiter reached out to me, had a call with her. Then met with the head of product and she explained she was looking for a strong product thought partner in this role. Did a design task - put together an extensive deck with my design + product strategy and hypothetical wireframes for introducing a new feature into their app. Moved on to the next round and met with their head of design consultant, he was a bit condescending and they said I didn't have enough "brand and visual design experience." I think they were a bit confused on what a product designer does.
