Onsite interview in 2011. Got an offer, which I declined. Recruiter warned me that if I declined, the offer could be off the table if I ever changed my mind.
In summer 2012 I got a new call from a new recruiter. I was told that we could skip a new round of interviews and could go straight to negotiating a new offer. This time I was receptive, but had enough leverage to get a bump in salary and stock units, AND specifically request that I get to work out of the SF office.

Schnelle Absage über die Statusmeldung im Portal. Ohne Referenz von internen Mitarbeitern ist es schwierig, in die Interviewphase zu gelangen. Anschließend ist man für 90 Tage im Bewerbungsverfahren blockiert, was eine erneute Bewerbung ebenfalls erschwert. Das ist nicht ganz fair, wenn die Gründe für die Absage sehr unterschiedlich sein können, wie etwa wenn zu viele Bewerber bereits im Prozess sind.
An external recruiter from randsad contacted me through LinkedIn. first interview is scheduled after 3 weeks. its about a coding question where i failed in writing complete code in 30 min.
