Interview process was well designed and organised. There were 3 rounds - 1 technical round - testing SQL and puzzles. Second round was business stakeholder, around previous work ex and some guesstimates. Final round was with HR.
The interview process was straightforward and professional. It began with a recruiter screening focused on my background, interest in the Business Analyst role, and general fit. The conversation then moved into my analytical experience, communication style, and how I approach ambiguous business problems.
Interview process is dumb. Honestly not worth the hype. Was done over the phone and the interviewer wasn’t even that friendly. I’m sure it’s a great fit for some people but I need something with more of a focused vision.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
