irst, I applied online. A recruiter reached out after reviewing my resume and set up a quick call to talk about my background and the role. After that, I had an interview with the hiring manager. Once that went well, I went through a round of 3–5 interviews with different team members. They asked about my skills, how I work with others, and how I handle challenges. Then a separate review team looked over all the feedback.
The interview process was straightforward and professional. It began with a recruiter screening focused on my background, interest in the Business Analyst role, and general fit. The conversation then moved into my analytical experience, communication style, and how I approach ambiguous business problems.
Interview process is dumb. Honestly not worth the hype. Was done over the phone and the interviewer wasn’t even that friendly. I’m sure it’s a great fit for some people but I need something with more of a focused vision.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Google (New York, NY) in Feb 2026
