Chaotic, ego-driven, unethical, and full of posturing. One of the co-founders seems more interested in flexing power than actually hiring great talent — forgetting that he’s running a 12-person shop, not a Fortune 500 company. The interview process felt like a bait-and-switch: they asked me to prepare a presentation on the spot without ever mentioning that this would be a requirement, then tried to apply pressure tactics to ‘see how I react.’ I’ve interviewed with top tech companies — Adobe, DoorDash, eBay, SailPoint — and have never seen anything like this. It feels more like a Ponzi scheme designed to waste candidates’ time and extract free consulting ideas than a legitimate hiring process. If you’re considering interviewing here, tread carefully — you risk being sidelined, strung along, and used to prop up someone else’s ego.

Initial interview was lovely, but the assignment I was asked to complete after was very odd. I was asked to put together pretty complex excel formulas, come up with solutions to problems that were nowhere near specific enough to answer, and develop media plans for “case study” clients that would likely need to be started with other teams if the plan was in the client’s best interest. Overall, it seemed like it was made by someone who didn’t know what the role was or how paid media works. I spent a lot of time on this assignment to try to cover all my bases due to the lack of specificity, and of course I was not compensated. Also: if a keyword isn’t performing well, you should just consider pausing it, not come up with several complex ways to save it. What a weird question.
