I applied through college or university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Guidepoint (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied for the position on firm site, found the listing on university career page. Soon after invited to complete a screening call with a HR rep. Call was extremely brief consisting of three general questions and lasted less than ten minutes at most. Later was invited to New York for interview. I was not reimbursed for expenses. It seemed very chaotic and unorganized. Everyone I met was very friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs although they were stressful and perhaps underpaid. Interview consisted of three to four brief one on one interviews with analysts or associates. Questions were basic and atmosphere was laid back, very Greek with almost everyone wearing a vest. Culture as described here is astutely accurate.
Three rounds; first round was informational, second round was a chat with higher up managers, third round was a mock assessment and chat with other managers. Mock assessment limited to 1 hour and must answer at least 6 questions.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guidepoint
Interview
I found the job posting on a job search site and submitted my resume on the official website. I received an invitation for a screening call with HR within three days and moved on to the next interview stages. The entire interview process took almost four weeks to complete.
