Completed the math test and reached out to the recruiter on LinkedIn. Had a video call with the recruiter. Very professional and gave me immediate feedback that he would push me to the next step, a hiring manager interview. The hiring manager interview is the reason for the negative rating. I think I caught the manager on a bad day. He was distracted from the start and unprepared. Seemed like he was busy with other things and our interview was just the next meeting on his calendar. I understand that HCSS has a casual attire, but he seemed as though he just came from working out. Asked me maybe one question and honestly just didn’t seem that interested from the start. Overall, the company is still impressive to me, but I did not walk away with a good interview experience and would not apply again.
