I applied online. I interviewed at Harkat Studios (Mumbai) in Jul 2020
Interview
The interview is quite informal (this does *not* mean you aren't professional though!) It starts off as more of a "life" conversation- so that they can see what you're looking for, and if your goals align with theirs. It's also to get a general vibe check. Depending on what role you're applying for, you will be asked if you know all the relevant softwares. In the case of a producer role, they will ask you about prior experiences. They look for people who have multiple skills- i.e. can edit, do a bit photography/videography, basic Photoshop, have experience in production- because people on projects tend to overlap and work on a variety of different things. Harkat doesn't pay attention to your skills on paper or your "qualifications"- it matters more if you're a nice person and someone who is eager and willing to learn.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1) They'll start by asking you a little about yourself. Post that, they will pick on any couple of stand out projects from your portfolio and ask you about the experience of working there.
