I had an initial phone call with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, which she rescheduled twice. During the call, she briefly described the role and asked a few basic questions about my background. She mentioned that my CV and cover letter hadn’t yet been shared with the hiring manager, which is unusual, as candidates are typically shortlisted before any interviews take place (at least, this has been my experience so far). After the call, I didn’t hear back for about two weeks. I tried to follow up with the recruitment office, but my emails kept bouncing back. When I finally received a response, I was informed that they had decided to move forward with another candidate.
