5 stage detailed interview process, involving 8 employees / team members, over the course of 5 weeks.
Stage 1 – 30 minute initial screening – in-house Talent Acquisition
Stage 2 – 1 hour - Hiring Manager and team member
Stage 3 – 1 hour presentation outlining the first 6 months in the role and skills interview – Hiring Manager and previous team members from stage 2 plus 2 more team members.
Stage 4 – 45 minutes Values Interview – 2 team members (not from earlier stages of the process)
Stage 5 – 30 minutes – Meet the CEO – booked in as ‘a friendly chat in which he will tell you a little bit more about the company and the mission’ but actually a full 45 interview asking the same questions that have previously been covered in the other stages and presentation.
Stages 2-4 could be removed as the CEO makes the decision. Suggestion would be to swap stage 5 with stage 2 to avoid time wasting and demoralisation of unempowered team members.
