Awkward. The whole experience was awkward. You have a 10 minute phone conversation a couple days prior and then are asked to come in for a face to face interview. I was pretty excited but once I got in, that all changed. The space looks cluttered and everyone was just staring at a computer together. I walked into a room full of people but literally noone greeted me. A couple minutes later, the person I talked to on the phone introduced themselves. I had a short interview with them. Then, I met the manager. He was incredibly disengaged and seemed to be uninterested from the get go. It was almost as if he was thinking about something else or wasn't listening. Then, I did some computer tasks. Let me tell you, HelloFresh seems like a hard objective to sell in the first place. They use UPS to send boxes of ingredients to people. They themselves told me that sometimes their customers don't get the food that they have subscribed to. I immediately knew I wanted to back out at this point. Where are the ethics with this company? Anyways, lastly, I met another person but at this point I was completely uninterested as well. She talked about something completely irrelevant to the position. At the end, I'm glad I checked it out because I would've always wondered what it was like but it definitely is not for me.
