      I interviewed at Helm.ai

      Interview

Overall really disappointed. I had an onsite (scheduled from 9am to 4pm) after several weeks of being in the process. After the morning interviews, HR sent me an email during my onsite lunch break to tell me that they will not move forward with my me. She then cancelled the afternoon interviews. The onsite was the final stage after 2 interviews and a 70 minute coding test. I thought it was really disrespectful (especially being that far in the process), and after adjusting my calendar to make room for hours of interviews that day. The interview process was the following : -Call with 2 engineers -Coding test (70 minutes, which was not mentioned, I was expecting something around 45 minutes, but thankfully as was free to finish it) with 4 exercises -Onsite starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm with coding and algebra questions The company has really high expectations, which I can understand since it's really small, but the process was not handled well
