Round 1:
The process starts with a discussion with the team combined with a light technical interview. This round focuses on past and relevant projects, where candidates explain project metrics and how dashboards deliver business value (in English). The technical portion (in Vietnamese) includes several SQL questions (approximately 6–10), covering advanced topics such as GROUP BY on non–primary keys and using window functions to find top-1 or top-2 results. Candidates are also asked to design an ERD, including concepts like Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD). Throughout the interview, there is strong emphasis on technical reasoning: why particular tools or technologies were chosen, what problems they solved, and how they were applied in real projects.
Round 2:
A short take-home or on-site assignment intended to assess technical and problem-solving skills. I did not advance to this round, so I do not have direct details about its format or scope.
Round 3:
A culture-fit and behavioral discussion with management. I did not reach this round and therefore do not have firsthand information about it.
