Interview
You have to interview with district HR, then provide a sample lesson to get into the teacher pool. Then you have to interview with various members of the campus you would like to enter, sometimes as many as 3 people separately. Some schools hold panel interviews, where all the involved parties are there. Then you could possibly hear back that day, or a week later, or even two weeks. It really just depends on the school and their level of need. You really should apply around Feb or March if you want in to the better schools.

Interview
You first fill out an application , then go through pre-screening, if select your application is place on a pool for open jobs you qualify for. The next step is interviewing with interested principals, you may have multiple interviews scheduled in the same day. I was hired on the spot during my first interview.
