I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2020
Interview
A recruiter approached me on Linkedin, asked for my resume and transcript. I got a phone call from the recruiter asked me briefly about my background.
I got a technical interview a few days later, then a decision 2 days after that.
Despite no offer it was a positive and quick experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me many many questions on mostly data structures and algorithms. For example what data structure(s) can you use to efficiently find minimum 10 numbers in an incredibly large data set.
two interviews; in the first interview, they asked CV-related questions; in the second, it was behavioral and asked for cultural fit. The second interview was with the Chinese manager, and it was a one-to-one interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The company requires long working hours. How do you feel about this?
It went smooth, 2 OA, 1 HR Call, 1 Technical Call, 1 Manager Call. All went well, they ask based on your title and field. SO get prepared for what you are applying for like which position you know.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Huawei Technologies (Düsseldorf)
Interview
Getting an invitation for a phone interview was very unexpected for me given that my CV is not linear. The interviewer was incredibly disrespectful. I was shocked about how aggressively she talked to me. I have never experienced something like that. She was treating me like I did something wrong or like she was trying to set me up for failure? She said to me if the interview goes well you will hear from us otherwise you won’t. So not even a rejection mail.
