I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ICON (Bengaluru) in Jul 2023
Interview
Interview process is standard. First HR round, followed by 2 technical rounds and one assignment. The assignment was medium difficult. The interview is tough, but if you know your work you can crack it
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ICON (North Wales, PA) in Nov 2015
Interview
On campus interview first, then went to a half-day, final round interview at North Wales, PA. They will not reimburse for local travel (even though it costs $13 and one hour each way on the train to get from Philadelphia to North Wales, PA). I was asked via e-mail a week later whether or not I would need a work visa sponsorship in the future to work with them. The next day they e-mailed me to tell me that they do not hire international students, and therefore cannot make me an offer. They apologized for not addressing this sooner. They could have saved me a lot of time and effort in traveling and interviewing. A friend of mine who is also an international student, was informed on the same day that his final round interview would be cancelled because they do not sponsor international students. Seems very disorganized. Surprising that the interview coordinator did not think to ask this or check for this before offering interviews, or at least during the first round interview.
