- Between the initial application and the first interview, it passed 3
months. It took them a long time to process the application and
schedule an interview, which felt unprofessional. I felt that they were
interviewing me just cause they couldn't find anybody to fill the
position.
- During the interview, they asked regular questions, some easy
technical questions and talked about the company. Most of their
interest was in hands-on activities, I would say very precise hands-on
activities.
- The salary range that they offered for this position was very low,
considering that you will probably be doing shift work, being on call
24/7, and deal with a lot of pressure from customers, and internal
managers, with very little to no support. One of the engineers even
laughed at the current state of technical support for field engineers,
saying at some point that everything falls on you to solve.
- The interview was pretty much similar to any semiconductor
equipment manufacturing company. And I presume that bad reviews
for a manufacturing positions are indeed truthful.
