      Feb 15, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Washington, DC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IRS (Washington, DC) in May 2014

      Interview

By telephone. Someone will schedule a call with you and a panel of at least two people that will go through a list o questions with you. All questions were pre-prepared and the same for all candidates.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Technical questions and behavioral questions. One example of technical questions would be: how do apply a certain provision of the US Treasury Regulation? A behavioral question was: how would you react if your peer opposed to your position or recommendation and getting his/her consent is necessary to move forward?
