I applied online. I interviewed at ITHAKA in Mar 2021
Interview
I submitted my resume and a few days later received a request for a phone interview. I responded promptly with availability and received the same exact request from the same HR person 2 days later. I completed the interview and answered a question the HR person sent right before the interview via email as well. I did not receive a response.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Part of why I did not feel it was a good interview experience was that I was really asked only 1 very general questions (something along the lines of why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?) and then given the opportunity to ask more about the company. I would not say my answer to the question should have stood out negatively or positively, since this is basically the first question every interviewer asks. The interviewer does not work closely with the department I was applying to, so I took it as an opportunity to learn more about the culture of the larger organization.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ITHAKA
Interview
The people were very nice and each conversation was enjoyable, but the process was very lengthy and took over 3 months to complete along with a lengthy take home assessment that I wasn’t compensated for.

Question 1
What challenges have you faced in managing multiple research projects simultaneously, and how did you address them?
The Interview was tedious with multiple rounds. They seem to care very deeply about the folks that they hire deeply about who they hire. Be prepared to ask and answer questions
First a screening interview, then a time-consuming assignment where you produce a mini-version of a report derived from interview data. Finally 3 separate interviews, one with hiring manager, one with department head and one with a potential peer. And after that, you give a presentation to the whole team.

Question 1
Interview questions were pretty informal, the interviews were more like conversations. The initial screening call was a bit more traditional.
