I had an interview with IXICO's head of people (HR) and head of Project Management. The discussion covered my background, role expectations, and the company's work as an imaging CRO. At the end of the interview, the head of HR confirmed they would be in touch within a specified timeframe. However, despite that commitment, I received no further contact, even though I followed up on a couple occasions for an update. When senior leaders commit to a response date and then go silent, it reflects poorly on both professionalism and respect for candidates' time. Even a short "no" would have been better than complete silence. Ghosting candidates is very disappointing.

The interview process includes two steps: first step is mostly remote and you should mainly introduce yourself and talk about your background. After passing this step, in the second round, you should be prepared to present a related scientific topic and discuss your previous activates in more details and be ready for panel's questions.
