Interview
30 minute phone interview. First asked general behavioral questions, and later asked some technical questions, such as giving definitions of statistical terms, and about specifics on DNA. Asked about my current work experience and why I wanted to work for the company. Also asked how I would be a good fit for the company.
Brief phone interview. A few HR-type questions, mostly technical though. The interview was basically a first pass of gauging basic competencies. Does the applicant know fundamental concepts in biology, statistics, IT, etc...
