I applied online. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Tempe, AZ) in Sep 2013
Interview
One in person interview consisting of mainly behavioral based questions at the store I applied to. The best way to get through it is to stress that you have given or will give customers the best experience possible (never say no just give alternatives), and always smile.
Super easy interview. Just smile a lot, be friendly, and talk about how much you like In n Out. Have a positive attitude and work hard. If interested in management talk about it, and why.
I applied online. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Livermore, CA) in Jul 2018
Interview
Basically a normal conversation and asking the kind of person that you are. More geared to see if you’re a good fit for the fast pace environment or if you’re a good people person.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at In-N-Out Burger (Glendale, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I went up against 50 other people. I'M NOT KIDDING! And that was the first round. They brought in a specialist that interviewed us in groups of 5-6 and the top 2 made it. I'm gonna be honest with everyone, they want an In-n-Out smile. If your not smiling during your interview your chances go down. They also are looking for people to personify that in-n-out culture. If you've been to an in-n-out you know what I mean. Then it was just me & 8 other people. After that I talked to an assistant manager who then got approval by the store manager. In total 2-3 rounds.
