Bizarre. Honestly. I had a phone screen with someone who doesn't work for the company, but is close friends of the CEO. During the INITIAL PHONE SCREEN, she asked me for contact information for all of my previous and current bosses, and for how they would rank me on a scale of 1-10. She was invasive, presumptuous, and rude and I declined moving forward with the process. It was one of the worst phone screens I've ever had, and I hope no one else has to go through this.
In this job market, you need to do better. I get contacted by polite recruiters constantly who seem to actually want me to work for their company and are impressed by my skillset. Job seekers just don't need to put up with a disrespectful recruiter like her.

Question 1
How would your previous boss rank you on a scale of 1-10?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at InClover (Boulder, CO) in Jun 2019
Interview
Initial contact was made over email. All email communication was prompt and straightforward. I had a reasonable 30 minute phone interview with no odd or off-topic questions (no "tell me how you have failed" or "how many gum balls fit in a school bus"). Received prompt email updates with status of the process. I didn't get the job, but the process also didn't leave me with any bad feelings.
