Inclusivity interview questions

Went through 3 rounds of interviews. Everyone at the team was positive. I was orally offered the job and was told a written offer would only be made available once a suitable project was identified. They said it would take 2-3 weeks to identify a project. In the meanwhile, they asked that I provide them with a bio, headshot, and add their company to my LinkedIn profile. After following up with them 2 months later, I still have not been provided with any work. It was a waste of my time and an inappropriate use of my LinkedIn profile.
